Rihanna revealed she entered a boot camp in order to prepare for her role as tough cadet Raikes in the forthcoming film Battleship.
The ‘California King Bed’ star was not spared as instructors yelled and cursed at her as she was made to do push ups.
"It got you really in the mentality, that's the stuff that they go through; it's not a walk in the park. [I] wanted to say 'F you' right back but he probably would have thrown me through the window!" she told Fandango.com.
The 23-year old even warned her best friend who tagged along not interrupt the sergeant, ‘'I was so scared, I just looked at him like, "I swear I'll get it right, I'll be good!"' she added.
Starring Liam Neeson , Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard and Josh Pence Battleship is set to hit cinemas in May 2012.
