Fringe And Bangs Are Back In 2011

return fringe bangsAs trends keep on changing, or sometimes repeat in certain cycles, some hairstylists think that fringe or bangs will make one of this year’s hair trends. Will there be a change in the types of fringe this year? “Not really,” according to Tania Braukämper from Fashionising. She thinks it’s still best worn with a messy, neo-bohemian, grungy edge, or an aura of ‘60s sex-kitten nonchalance (such as in the style of Francoise Hardy or Jane Birkin), or the elegant but still natural straight and sleek.
So which haircuts should we wear bangs/fringe with?
The bob
The easiest style cuts to think about fringed bob, is the one which Louise Brooks had in 1920s. But in 2011, the fringe is the perfect accompaniment to a longer bob, such as the one was worn once by Abbey Lee Kershaw. But again, “this canwork perfectly for a sixties-inspired look, or for a grungy messy ‘do that’s devil-may-care,” wrote Braukämper.

The short crop
A pixie crop is also perfect with a fringe in 2011, but rather than being cut separate to the rest of the hair, it should all be a continuous; the crop simply cut longer in front to create the effect of bangs, such as Carey Mulligan’s hairstyle.

Long hair
Well, this one shouldn’t be questioned at all, because we all know that bangs are perfect for shoulder length to the longer hair, especially when the hair is naturally straight or with a slight wave.

As I have told you before trends can always move just like an unstoppable avalanche that will change the landscape entirely. Same things happen with bangs/fringe when it came back on 2007, it didn’t stop there anyway but always come with a renewed look. So, we never know what kind of new hair ideas some of the genius hairstylists will invent with fringe/bangs this year.
