Lindsay Lohan Goes Home after Less Than Five Hours in Jail

Lindsay Lohan, 25, used the Sunday night hours to check herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. However, it was a quick in-and-out for Lindsay Lohan as she was released after spending less than five hours in a notorious crowded jails in Los Angeles. Lindsay was free from jail early Monday morning, just 4.5 hours later. This means Lindsay’s 30-day jail sentence for a probation violation took less than five hours.
Last week, “Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan was ordered to serve 30 days in jail after admitting that she violated her probation on a necklace theft conviction. Lohan's spokesman, Steve Honig said Monday that Lohan is extremely focused on fulfilling her community service, so she can put all of this behind her as soon as possible.
Lindsay Lohan gave up her right to a hearing on November 3 when the judge announced to sentence her to 30 days in jail and 53 days of community service at the morgue. The actress had one week to turn herself in, and during that time, Lindsay was reported to complete another Playboy shoot and arrived at Leonardo DiCaprio‘s J. Edgar Hoover premiere after party.
The Mean Girls actress begins her extensive community service now. And avoiding jail or being slapped with the remaining 270 days of the cumulative 300 day sentence would totally depend on how the actress further fulfills her community service as well as psychotherapy sessions.
Lohan’s this brief jail was named her forth trip to prisons. It was reported that Lindsay Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail in 2007. She also had two weeks in jail in July 2010 and 14 hours in September 2010. However, Lindsay Lohan is still carrying out her project. A spokesman of Playboy magazine said that the troubled actress will appear in the magazine’s January/ February issue and will hit newsstands in December.
