Recently, London has overtaken New York to become the world’s most stylish city or the world's fashion capital for 2011. The title is result of survey by Global Language Monitor which studies a system that tracks the frequency of words and phrases in print, electronic and social media. The survey ends up with London in the top position instead of New York that is due to strong influence of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate and Alexander McQueen. Kate Middleton – the international rising fashion icon of the world wore wedding dress designed by artistic director for the Alexander McQueen Sarah Burton in marriage in April to Britain's Prince William.
