There are many ways to straighten your hair, but often people don’t care how they straighten it they just want it straight. Even at the cost of damaging their hair. There have been reports that some methods of hair straightening have even been damaging to your health.
I’ve went into some detail on how to get your hair straight and keep it that way.
Hair-Dressings & Creams: These types of products have been around for a while now. They are pretty much designed for you to apply while your hair is damp and then for you to comb it straight. The cream is designed to prevent your hair from curling when your hair does dry.
Blow-drying and Brushing: While your hair is wet it has a tendency to stay straight as it dries you will see your hair tighten and curl up.
By holding your hair with a comb and blow-drying it your hair will remain straight. Some people have more success than others with this method.
Relaxer: This method works fairly well. It requires you to apply a chemical to your hair; this in turn will “relax” your hair. Your then would physically straighten your hair allowing the formula to keep your hair in a straightened state.
Styling Products: Hairsprays, mousses, gels are all styling products that can be used to straighten your hair. These aren’t exactly the most effective, but there upside is that they don’t take as much time as some of the other methods.
Hair Straighteners:Last but not least we have to mention the hair straightener / flat iron.
These are used commonly today and are known to work well. If you have extremely curly hair and have tried some of the other methods and they don’t seem to work as well as you’d like then using a hair straightener might be the right choice for you. It works very well on all types of hair.
