A forest of leading celebrities like Jessica Alba, JK Rowling, Gemma Arterton, Jennifer Lawrence, Tracey Emin, Talulah Riley, Emma Watson, and etc attended the 2011 Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) that took place at the Royal Opera House, London on February 13. This year, “The King’s Speech” got great victory when it won 7 BAFTAs including Best Film, Leading Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Original Screenplay, Original Music and Outstanding British Film as well while “Harry Potter” film series only received the award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.
However, audiences before knowing the event’s winners also paid serious attention about a 30-minute red carpet pre-show, where celebrities in beautiful and luxury outfits posed for photos. Unfortunately, some stars looked worst than usual due to their inappropriate outfits.
Gemma Arterton
Though the black strapless Yves Saint Laurent gown that is adorned with an oversized blue bow on waist looks beautiful, it might be inappropriate to just 25-year-old Gemma Arterton. Besides, she accessorizes with black peep-toe heels and a sparkling black pocketbook handbag
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence attends the 2011 Orange British Academy Film Awards in one revealing strapless gown with a plunging neckline by Stella McCartney and a choker by Cathy Waterman. But Lawrence’s outfit makes her a bit less attractive
Tracey Emin
Tracey Emin’s accessories ton-sur-ton with a gold Vivienne Westwood gown couldn’t help her become better
Talulah Riley
Talulah Riley looks thinner in a blue and silver asymmetrical number gown
Sarah Harding
Perhaps, Sarah Harding would expect to attract more attention in a bright red Georges Chakra dress with a thigh-high split
Jane Goldman
Jane Goldman’s oversized blossom is shown off when she wears a long back gown
Meredith Ostrum
Meredith Ostrum must consider whether she should wear this dress while her blossom is quite flat
