After six-week trial, Conrad Murrays was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the case of Michael Jackson's June 2009 death. The twelve jurors reached the verdict last Monday (7 November 2011). Michael Jackson family members could take some solace in a courtroom victory. They cried, shouted and finally gave a sigh of relief as Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. The 58-year-old doctor was criminally negligent in his use of the surgical anesthetic Propofol to treat Jackson's insomnia and it was the direct cause to Michael Jackson’s death at the age of 50.
