PyMapper is an application built using the Python programming language and wxPython in order to help the user create and edit RPG maps.

What's New in This Release:
· Version 7.0 marks the first significant change in how tilesets are loaded. Previously, a user had to manually navigate to a folder to find a tileset and open them one at a time. Pymapper now looks for all .set format files located under the /tiles/ folder where pymapper is installed. Tilesets should still be installed in their own subfolders, but now a tileset manager takes the place of being able to find what tilesets are available. Two new types of tiles debut in this version, markers and symbols. Both can act as normal tiles, but with some additional features. Markers are user-defined, from the Symbols and Markers manager. They are available in six different shapes, with customizable colors and short text labels. These would typically be the monster placement markers found in an adventure. Markers can act as tiles (they show up on their own tile page) or they can be assigned to a room icon. If used as an icon, they can have an xml file associated with them to store images, text, e...
