Kim Kardashian has filed the divorce to her professional basketball player husband Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage. The reality star confirmed that she filed the papers to end her marriage on October 31. Actually, the divorce comes as more disappointment than sudden shock as the rumors of split between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been flying for weeks. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied a knot on August 20 in a lavish wedding which netted them at least $15 million.
It seems that the only person who blindsided by Kim’s decision is Kris Humphries. When Kim Kardashian divorce papers are in, the former New Jersey Nets forward refuses to believe that Kim Kardashian legally asked the court to solve the marriage due to "irreconcilable differences". Kris Humphries said in a statement that, “I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents” and “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work”.
