“The Hunger Games" Trailer: Full First Video and Pictures Released

The leading independent filmed entertainment studio Lionsgate has finally release the first and the most awaited trailer of the movie "The Hunger Games" - the forthcoming film adaptation of the widely successful novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. The world of “The Hunger Games” has explored with the debut of the movie’s first trailer on the TV show “Good Morning America” on Monday morning, November 14.
The Hunger Games, which has been scheduled to be released on March 23, 2012, has been one among the most heavily promoted films these days with the appearances on countless posters, teasers as well as magazine covers. While the movie’s release date is growing closer, the studio has offered “Hunger Games” fans an extended glimpse into the world of death matches, romance and survival, with this first trailer.
In just over 2 minutes, audiences can meet Katniss Everdeen, a vulnerable but strong girl played by Jennifer Lawrence, and her love interest Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Fans continue seeing the ostentatious Capitol that takes the role as a brilliant contrast to poor people as well as the drab environments of the rolling woods of District 12 where the action begins.
The Hunger Games trailer opens with Katniss Everdeen and her longtime friend Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) hunting in the woods of District 12, one of the improvised sections of Panem. Trouble has arrived as they accidentally see the reaping – where children are forced to participate in a lottery, in which two of them are chosen to fight for the death match to be broadcast across the nation of Panem. Katniss doesn’t want her sister Prim to be sucked into the Hunger Games. Therefore, she volunteers to replace Prim, which begins a new life for her and her sweetheart Peeta Mellark.
