Interestingly, Katy Perry’s pink hair truly matched the pink carpet at MTV EMA 2011 last night. Miss Perry is nominated four awards this year including Best Song, Best Live Act, Best Pop and Best Female while Justin Bieber and Adele are close behind with three nominations each and Lady Gaga tops the nominees list with six nods. The 27-year-old singer presented Brian May of Queen with the Global Icon award during the big show! At the end of this big event, Katy Perry took home with one trophy for Best Live Act, defeating Coldplay, the Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Receiving her award from Jersey Shore's J-Woww and Snooki, the “Firework” star shared: 'This is amazing... This is probably my favorite award, as it's easy to buy, download or steal a track, but takes real commitment to go to a live show - thank you!"
