Taylor Swift Wins Billboard Woman of the Year 2011

Taylor Swift has been named the Billboard Woman of the Year 2011. The famous country singer and four-time Grammy winner becomes the youngest woman to ever to receive the honor. The 21-year old singer and songwriter will accept the award at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event on December 2 at Capitale in New York City. Billboard is the annual Women in Music Event to celebrate the most powerful and talented women in the music business. Fergie of the Black-Eyed Peas was last year's recipient.

In addition, Taylor Swift is nominated several other 2011 Billboard Music Awards, including Favorite Female Country Artist, Artist of the Year and Favorite Country Album for the five-time platinum-selling "Speak Now."
