Safia Farkash - Wife of Muammar Gaddafi - and Her Children


Safia Farkash Gaddafi is Muammar Gaddafi’s second wife and the mother of seven of his eight biological children. Safia is reportedly the owner of Buraq Air, and about 20 tonnes of gold so that her fortune is worthy about $30 billion.

Recently, Colonel Gaddafi’s widow has sent international demands for an inquiry into his killing, saying she was proud of the courage shown by her husband and children. Along with celebrations over Muammar Gaddafi 's death continued throughout Libya, officials of the ruling National Transitional Council were forced to delay his secret burial for further examination of his battered body.
Safya Farkash has Hungarian root from a family of Obeidat tribe. He was born in Bayda and trained as a nurse. Dubai Libya's First Lady Safia Farkash al-Baraasi met her husband Muammar Qaddafi when Safia was Qaddafi's nurse while he was in the hospital for appendicitis in 1970 or 1971 and married soon after. Muammar Qaddafi and Safia Farkash have six sons and one daughter. They also reportedly adopted two children. Her first son Saif Al Islam was born on 1972 in Tripoli, Liby. He was an architect who was long-rumored to be Gaddafi's successo. The second son of Muammar and Safya, Al Saadi Al Gaddafi, the former soccer player was born a year later. Hannibal, a former employee of the General National Maritime Transport Company, a company that specialized in oil exports was welcomed on 20 September 1975 and on 1976 Safia and Gaddafi's only biological daughter, Ayesha Gaddafi was born in 1976. In 1977 their fifth son Moatasim who died on 20 October 2011 was born, followed by Saif Al Arab who was allegedly killed 5 months ago. Their last son is Khamis, a commander at the Khamis Brigade Libyan Army’s. Furthermore, there are two adoptive daughters Hanna and Milad. Hanna whose alleged death at age fourth remains a mystery and some said she is still alive.
