Former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald and his girlfriend Twilight actress Nikki Reed were officially married on Sunday (October 16) at a private ranch in Malibu, California. The celebrity couple have said “I do” in front of one hundred of their friends and family. The bride said of her big day: “We couldn’t be happier!…We were surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come!” Paul McDonald and Nikki Reedmet at the premiere of Little Red Riding Hood in March. Although the couple became engaged just several months after they started dating, anyone admitted that they are head over heels in love.
Talking about his shock engagement to Twilight actress Nikki Reed, the American Idol contestant said that he knew straight away that she was "the one". Announcing the engagement only months later at the MTV Movie Awards, McDonald told MTV News that he love Nikki Reed to death.

McDonald explained: “"It's kind of one of those things you don't expect. Like last year I never would have thought I'd be getting married." He added: “She's the perfect girl. We fit each other, when you know, you know, and she's the one."
