On October 8, a controversial show was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales named "Michael Forever" Tribute concert hosted by Jamie Foxx and Fearne Cotton. Jackson died in June 2009 at the age of 50, as he was preparing for a string of comeback concerts in London.
On that memorial night, the 30-year-old singerChristina Aguilera shocked fans as she came on stage, performed in an unflattering costume. Her blonde hair with long extensions was matted mess and her skimpy corset and fishnets. With the aim of honoring the late, great Michael Jackson, the "Moves Like Jagger" singer showed off her strong vocals as she sang out one of the King of Pop's favorite songs, "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin.

The concert has divided the King of Pop's family and followers. The three brothers, sister La Toya and vocal group 3T which consists of three of Michael's nephews all performed, while Katherine was in the audience and Michael's brothers Jermaine and Randy and sister Janet have stayed away, declaring that it is wrong to hold the show at the same time as Murray's trial. Dr. Conrad Murray was accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol and other sedatives in the bedroom of his rented mansion on June 25, 2009. On that night, Michael Jackson’s children also joined to celebrate the King of Pop, urging fans to focus on the late star's music rather than his death.
