Jessica Hartman of the United States has passed 59 contestants to be crowned Miss Intercontinental 2011by Miss Intercontinental 2010 Maydelise Columma from Puerto Rico.
The 20-year-old blond, who was former Miss Colorado USA and Miss USA 3rd runner-up, wore a US$ 335,000 coveted tiara, the most expensive crown used in all of the events of this nature.
The first runner-up was Miss Spain, Gloria Martinez, and the second runner-up was Miss Jamaica, Amanda Gordon. The Miss Congeniality 2011 award went to Miss Egland Stefanie Hodson, the best body shape to Miss Uruguay Patricia Callero, the Miss Photogenic 2011 to Miss Martinique Kathlyn Desire, and the best National Costume to Miss Peru Silvana Vazquez.

Jessica Hartman now studies mass communications at Colorado State University-Pueblo. She has taken part in ice skating shows, figure skating competitions, dance recitals, plays, speaking contests since the age of three. She received a 2009 Kane Scholar, a full-ride scholarship given to students who excel in academic record.
