David Schwimmer, whose full name is David Lawrence Schwimmer, is an American actor born on November 2, 1966. The actor began his acting career while playing in the drama at Beverly Hills High School. After graduating from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in theater and speech in 1988, he lived as an unemployed actor until playing Ross Geller in the situation comedy “Friends”.
Lately, Schwimmer is looking forward to move to U.K so he can star in his favourite TV shows. The actor, who is best known as geeky Ross Geller on the long-running U.S. sitcom, admits that “I live in New York, (but) I married a Brit... There are a couple of shows out here that I really love, like the new Sherlock and Luther”. Schwimmer made the first Off-Broadway directorial debut in the 2008 production “Fault Lines.”

The Friends star first met his wife Zoe Buckman in London in 2007 when she was working as a waitress at the Cuckoo Club. At that time, he was in London directing Simon Pegg comedy Run Fatboy Run. Schwimmer and English part-time photographer Zoe began dating then and married in a private ceremony last June after announcing their engagement in March 2010. Previously, David Schwimmer was linked to various celebrities and most notably women were Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia and former S Club 7 star Tina Barrett.

Buckman gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Cleo on May 8th. The newly dad proudly posted a photo of his family on his Twitter.com account alongside the caption, "Hey everyone. Please welcome my daughter, Cleo, to this crazy but wonderful world.”
