25-year-old Leila Lopes, whose real name is Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes, is Miss Universe 2011 representative from Angola. The Angolan beauty pageant has won the Miss Angola 2011. Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011 winner, was born on February 26, 1986 in Benguela, Angola as a daughter to parents of Cape Verdean background. She is a business management student in Great Britain. Before the winning at Miss Universe 2011, she was crown Miss Angola UK on October 8, 2010. Leila Lopes' height is 1.79 m (5 ft 10 1⁄2 in).

Miss Universe 2011, the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, is taking place at Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo at the moment which draws attention of the whole world. In the competition, contestants will be judged in terms of three categories including swimsuit, evening gown and the interview in the hopes of winning the 2011 Miss Universe crown Monday (Tuesday – Philippine time) at Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo - Brazil's largest and most picturesque city of Brazil.

When being asked the question about what physical trait she would change, the 25-year-old Lopes said that this was inner beauty and principles that counted most. Leila Lopes stated, “Thank God I'm very satisfied with the way God created me and I wouldn't change a thing. I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I intend to follow these for the rest of my life.”
The first runner-up was 23-year-old Olesia Stefanko of Ukraine and the second runner-up was Priscila Machado of Brazil. The third was Miss Philippines and the fourth Miss China.
